MEMORY Cards!!!!!!!?

I have a micro SD memory card and I want to buy a digital camera. The camera can support SD cards but does it support Micro SD cards? If it is any help I wanna buy Canon Powershot A-550

  1. The Canon you are looking to get will support a Micro SD if you have a MicroSD to standard SD adaptor. It's the piece that you slide the MicroSD into and it becomes a full sized SD card. This should have come with your MicroSD card but if not, it probably wouldn't be too difficult to acquire one. My recommendation though is to go out and buy a new high speed SD card. The Ultra II by SanDisk works great. The high speed will give you faster shutter response, shorter time between shots, and faster loading into the computer. Hope this helps!
  2. Fuzzy got it right. You just use the SD adapter that came with your card. if you don't have it any more, you can buy one, but, you might as well just buy an SD card. You can get a 1Gb card for under $10 these days (which just baffles my mind). If you plan on doing a lot of photography, and you're hot on one of those 10 or 12Mpix digicams, and like to take movies with it as well, you might want to invest in a good, Sandisk UltraII or other high speed card that's 2Gbytes at least.
