How do i install Ubuntu Linux from a usb flash drive?

i do not mean to a usb flash drive, i mean from a usb flash drive. like instead of using a cd.

1. You need to have a PC which will boot from a flash drive. And a flash drive which is bootable. Then you are away!!
2. You need to make a usb drive with ubuntu on it first. Ubuntu 8.10 has a built in utility to do this, but you will need a computer you can boot from the CD.
