How would I be able to view usb flash documents without the usb?

Hi, I've noticed that there are some documents that have been viewed from my computer, and I'm wondering if there's any way I can view them without the usb flash. I don't have it, and I really need to see what was being viewed. If you know how, and if there is a way, could you please tell me what to do and how to do it? Thanks so much!

  1. You can't. The usb is a separate drive. It would be like looking at files from a cd. If the cd isn't in the cd drive anymore, you can't see what's on it. Sorry.
  2. Believe it or not, some trained computer investigators can find out for you. Here's what you should do if you really need to see what they saw: 1. Pull the plug of your computer out of the wall RIGHT NOW. Don't go to shut down, don't hit the power button. This is very important because it preserves the exact state of your computer, and shutting down cleans up a lot of evidence that the forensics dude won't be able to easily find afterwards. 2. Hire a computer forensics investigator. Unfortunately, these guys aren't cheap, and they might cost hundreds of dollars, quite possibly over a couple thousand total. That's the only surefire way I know of. If it's that important, it might be better to call the police or ask your company's IT department. I'm no computer forensics investigator myself, but one place to look would be in your computer's paging file. Most computers store recent documents and such there, so you might want to look into a utility that lets you look at that. (Be sure to do your research from another computer!) Good luck!
  3. if you cant explain your questions right you shouldn't be asking them!!
