How to run Assembly Language programs from my flash drive.?

The problem that I am having is in regard to a program that i had to write in assembly language. I wrote it on notepad and saved it to my flash drive, but when I try to run it from my flash drive I get the error file cannot be opened. What I need is the correct path to reach my file . My assembler is located in drive C. When I am E(flash drive) I type C:\masm615\make16\masm_prog subtraction Can someone help.

1. Just put an "e:\" before the name of the file you want to assemble.
